Alfie M and Coby from Rec KW were totally engrossed in their Ice-Cream shop project. They worked with excellent cooperation and negotiation skills to first build the shop. They then decided that they needed a sign to tell people what kind of shop it was and a price list so people knew how much to pay. They took turns to write on their sign and helped each other to sound out the words that they needed. They started by holding the paper and then decided that it might be easier to use some pegs to keep it still. Another decision was made about how to attach it to their shop. They thought sellotape might be a good idea but when they tried it out, they realised that it didn’t work too well. They then decided to use the pegs again. An excellent example of independent writing for a purpose and super problem solving skills. Well done boys! 🤩 ‘Pair’ ice-cream sounds unusual but delicious!
