The pupils at Forest View LOVE Maths and have been hard at work with their topics of Place Value, Adding and Subtracting and Multiplying and Dividing. Number sense is crafted from our Nursery with daily counting and songs. Reception and KS1 are enjoying their Mastering Number programme alongside their busy daily Maths lessons. KS2 are further developing their mathematical skills by reasoning and problem solving their way through the curriculum. Investigative Maths is high on the agenda here at Forest View and the children love the teamwork and challenge that these lessons bring. We all took part in Maths Week England, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. KS2 entered the England Rocks competition run by Times Tables Rock Stars; well done to 4KP for winning!
