At Forest View Primary School we are passionate about supporting our pupils to reach their full potential, regardless of their backgrounds. At our school we challenge the historical social norms by providing an enriching and knowledge-based curriculum that has the overarching goal of raising aspirations and improving social mobility, and delivers better educational understanding for career outcomes for our pupils. In order to achieve these goals, our curriculum envisages actions to help remove obstacles to social mobility from the Early Years to Year 6. Alongside the core area of closing the attainment gap in school, we have built opportunities into our curriculum that exposes our pupils to careers that they may never have considered and enables them access to good role models.
