After reading ‘The Button Box’ in our maths session this week, the Reception children have been sorting and matching lots of buttons. They were able to explain in detail why their buttons matched, discussing their shape, size, pattern and colour. Dexter and Finley did an amazing job working together and were able to sort a very large amount of buttons. They were very proud of themselves!
In Reception we read the story of ‘The Gingerbread Man.’ We then followed a recipe to make our own. We kept a very close eye on them whilst they were cooking as we didn’t want them to escape and run around the school.

Well done to Callan who has been in school every day this week and whose name was chosen from the attendance prize tub ![]()
