As part of our new topic, ‘Animals Including Humans,’ we have been learning all about African animals. The children have been using scientific vocabulary such as ‘herbivore,’ ‘carnivore’ and ‘omnivore’ to categorise different animals. In groups, the children were able to discuss different animals and explain why they fell into each category. The children were able to use cross-curricular maths skills in order to represent their findings using a Venn diagram.
