We had a super visit from Stephanie Inglis, who represented Scotland at Judo. She talked to the children about making a career as an athlete; about challenging gender stereotypes; what she does for training; and what she eats to stay in shape. Afterwards each class took it in turns to train with her, completing circuit activities. Although it was exhausting, lots of children reported feeling inspired and motivated to achieve afterwards. Lots of children, who love sport, were surprised you could make a career out of doing a sport like Judo.
