Our yard buddies are responsible for:

1. Enforcing our respect rules.

2. Spotting a child on the buddy bench and asking them if they are okay.*

3. Spotting a child who looks alone and asking them if they are okay and would like to play.*

* If a child is lonely, they will either ask them to play with them or help them find a friend from their class.

– If the child reports someone has been unkind or says that they are sad or worried – the buddies will take that child to a trusted adult in school.
